Resources for other ministries

We offer a couple of specialized resources which can assist the ministry of the local evangelical church.

First

The FIRST is Club DJ. This is a rapidly-growing church club program for kids which is now being used by over 40 churches in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario. A related ministry blends Club DJ with Bible quizzing and is called Club DJ CONNEXTION. For more information on this effective ministry and how it can help the children in your church, see the Club DJ website or email the Club DJ director, .

second

The SECOND is our series of Bible-based online courses with over 1000 lessons available for free, in three languages (English, French and Spanish). These lessons, mostly from The Mailbox Club International, have for over 40 years proven to be effective for salvation and Christian growth. They are geared to children as young as five years old right through pre-teens, youth and adults.

Sunday School Classes

Many of our lessons are being used by summer camps, and could also be used in Sunday School settings. One specific idea for adult classes would be to make use of the "Getting Acquainted with the Old Testament" course, the 27-session "Judges" series or the 21-session "Genesis Patriarchs" series. A download link for the mp4 file can be found on each lesson page. Each audio-visual teaching session is 10-20 minutes in length. One or two of these could be used in a class session with the corresponding questions serving as a starting point for class discussion. For more information, see "Making Use of this Series in Adult Church Classes."

Our organizational relationships

We believe that God has raised up CEF, GMTC, Bible camps, Bible colleges, churches, and U.B. David & I'll B. Jonathan with unique ministries that complement each other in the overall development of 'David' (our term for a discipleship student).

David & Jonathan supplies lessons, books, awards, birthday cards, camp cards (for camper discounts), youth retreat certificates, and $100 Bible college scholarships within the ongoing development of the program (Canada only).

CEF, where they so desire, promotes the D&J program and distributes lessons to their contacts.

Participating camps promote their involvement in the D&J program and enroll campers in it.

Participating Bible colleges promote their involvement in the D&J program and accept youth retreat certificates from those who have met the qualifications.

And local churches are also invited to enroll students in the D&J online program and participate as sponsors in the camp card program (send us an email enquiry about this program).

Organizational note about David and Jonathan
