The Program
What does it cost?
We provide this program free to any person who wishes to study God's Word in this manner. But yes, it does cost money to operate it—an average of $10 per student per month for the paper lessons-through-mail program. These costs include printing, postage, certificates, books, and other awards. Much of the work is done by volunteers who donate their time freely. Our operating costs, including those related to our Internet ministry, are underwritten by Christians who are led to take on the role of "Jonathans" for the sake of the thousands of "Davids" in the program.
Please contact one of our offices if you would like to assist D&J in any way.
We would also encourage you to make a tax-deductible (Canada) online donation—just click on the CanadaHelps button below. This is a secure, safe, cost-effective way to help us make this program available to many more young people.
For Canada only—Those wishing to use our material in group situations (small group Bible study, Sunday School, camp, etc.) are warmly invited to do so. In these cases there is generally a nominal charge for the paper lessons. And points and awards can be earned only if the lessons are sent to us, by the student, for marking and grading. Please contact the office nearest you for more information.
