1. The Bible says that by nature we are all on the broad road that leads to destruction. How can we get on the narrow road that leads to everlasting life in Heaven?

We must repent.

We must be fair and upright in our dealings with our fellow man.

2. Repentance is

a change of mind about ourselves and about God.

going without food, punishing our bodies, and shedding tears over our sins.

3. The first step in repentance is to learn to accept what the Bible says about us -

God's Word says we have done no wrong.

God's Word says that we're sinners and need a Saviour.

4. Repentance is a change of mind about God. Which thought about God is correct?

God will not forgive sinners.

Jesus showed us that God loves sinners and that He wants to save them.

5. The Bible story about the lost sheep gives us an idea of how God feels about sinners. God cannot bear

to lose you.

6. What did it cost the Lord Jesus to bring you back to God?

All He did was talk to God the Father and got a pardon for us.

"He bore our sins in His own body on the cross." He died for our sins.

7. If you do not accept Jesus as Savior and are lost

God feels a great sense of loss, since He cannot bear to lose you.

because you are a sinner God doesn't care if you are lost.

8. God cannot bear to lose you because

He wants a certain number of people to be in Heaven.

He loves you with an everlasting love.

9. This lesson taught that

if only I will recognize that I'm a sinner and in need of a Saviour, God can help me.

I'm not as bad as some people, so, in time, I can change things myself.

10. (OPINION) Repentance can take place in a moment of time. Would you like to give your life to God now?
